Through years of traveling to different regions and battling trainers, as well as making the occasional friend, Alyssa has come to acquire a couple of nicknames on her journey from friends, one being HOENN'S ABYSS from the momentous method of battling she uses, also referring to her roots in Hoenn. The latter was created by a childhood friend in Verdanturf who was determined to make it 'hip' through the region. Quite honestly, Alyssa dislikes the nickname and prefers not to use it. Luckily, though, the war has drowned it out. Recently, through her ascension to power, she has become known as LEADER. BACKGROUND Alyssa was born in the town of VERDANTURF TOWN a surprising TWENTY-EIGHT YEARS ago on FEBRUARY 29TH. Her mother and father live in Verdanturf and are a pair of "Eeveelution" breeders. Her father used to be a businessman, though, that traveled all over Hoenn, occasionally taking her with him. As well, her father is a trained martial artist, and her mother's life before Alyssa knew her is shrouded in mystery. Given recent events, it is suspected that she is involved somehow with weapons operations within Lux. SEXUALITY TYPE-B ASEXUAL Alyssa's sexual orientation is something some people would consider a bit confusing. Although as far as physical appearance and personality judgements go, she takes only an interest in men. However, she has no desire to sleep with any man she sees or has seen. If she is ever in a relationship, it will have to be understood by the other party that she makes up for what she lacks as far as 'normalcy' goes in love and loyalty. Currently, she is involved with Indigo League Champion Lance, though his is not public knowledge. OCCUPATION The VETERAN TRAINER Alyssa traveled all over the pokemon world, honing her skills as a pokemon trainer and friend, battling whomever she can to become stronger, all the while fostering the bond she has with her pokemon. Through her time with Nox, she has worked to fight for their cause, and has earned herself a promotion to the HOENN REGIONAL LEADER FOR NOX. ALLEGIANCE NOX, people have minds of their own. Who in their right mind believes it's their job to tell them what and what not to do? She is currently the leader of her home region – Hoenn – for Nox. In the early stages of the war, when first fighting for Nox's cause, the trail of destruction behind her after battles on the front lines earned her the name of HOENN'S ABYSS - "Abyss" being a play on her first name. After her rise to power in Hoenn, she became known as a LEADER to both Nox and Lux, a symbol of power and a primary fighting force for the former and something to fear and hate for the latter. With the continuation of battles and incredible efforts she's put into reconstruction and fortification of her region in the "downtime" of the war has brought her a new title; she's being called a WARLORD. BACKGROUND Born THIRTY years ago in VERDANTURF TOWN, HOENN, she had an average childhood for the most part - sticking around the tiny town and occasionally going to the larger cities in the region whenever her father's job sent him there (ex: Rustboro, Sootopolis, Mossdeep, etc.). When she was ten, she - like many others at that age - departed on her journey. Over the course of the next fifteen years, she worked her way through the Gyms and terrain of the other regions. Conveniently, the original start of the war with Lux being born from the Indigo League marked the point at which she vanished from the face of the earth for a time, training and living alone deep within Meteor Falls for two years white the war escalated. She finally returned, finding herself caught between friends and her own morals as they regained contact with her, influencing her to join Lux and Nox alike. In the end, she chose Nox, believing them to be the lesser of the two evils waging the war. In spite of the fact she'd chosen a side, she was a reluctant fighter, not wanting to risk the well-being of her pokemon in something like this. However, she was forced to fight in the Battle of Olivine. During this a new Alyssa was born, the one that would become a Leader. Her first strike in the war earned her a reputation, as the Olivine Lighthouse fell to her name, crumbling to the ground along with Lux's control over the city. She saved Amphy before the structure collapsed, but otherwise allowed the lighthouse to fall into the sea - away from the houses. It was shortly after this she ascended to the position of Hoenn's Leader. Following this event was the Battle of Village Bridge in which she faced off against Kanto's then-Champion, Xander Cromwell. Ultimately she destroyed the aged landmark of Unova, but not without sustaining critical injuries herself. She was forced into hospitalization for weeks after the event, and to this day is left scarred (luckily not visibly) from the vicious attacks Xander assaulted her with. She's participated in many battles, but the third Battle of significance is the Battle of Lilycove. She defended Hoenn at the price of injury, but the city was nearly partially destroyed in the process. It was the first focus of her rebuilding effort in the downtime of the war. Now that things are beginning to stir up again, her priorities in Hoenn have shifted slightly from that of rebuilding and constructing to fortification of defenses, as well as readying the multitude of CLAWS soldiers willing to fight under Nox's banner if the war comes to them - as well as to drive out the remaining Lux in her region. She refuses to allow herself to die before that happens. OCCUPATION Before the war she was a VETERAN TRAINER, having spent the greater part of her life traveling through all regions and battling her way through trainers and Gym Circuits alike. Never once did she challenge an Elite Four or shoot for the Champion spot, though. Initially reluctant to join the war effort, she was no more than a Guerrilla in Nox's forces until she made a name herself in her first battle. Soon after she ascended to the spot of HOENN'S REGIONAL LEADER - the first in her name, and has maintained the title now for three long years. ALLEGIANCE NOX - people have minds of their own. Who in their right mind believes it's their job to tell them what and what not to do? She is currently the leader of her home region – Hoenn – for Nox. She is an extreme Hoenn Nationalist and concentrates her efforts in her home region. TRAITS [/style]

▪ she has developed a form of Dissociative Identity Disorder; the usual memory impairment that accompanies DID has not yet impacted her. the three "selfs" displayed are her usual self for everyday situations, a serious self that overcomes when discussing war-related plans, tactics, etc., and a more violent and merciless self that arises in battles - one that has little care for her surroundings.
▪ has a secret base located on the grassy portion of Route 115 by Meteor Falls. it functions as her "home" whenever she's not staying in a hotel. she keeps all personal belongings - including her ID + badge case - there save for what she travels with.
