Alyssa watched as the younger trainer called his pokemon back into its ball after a few moments worth of searching for the object that the pokemon took residence in. The Dragon-pokemon seemed to still be confused as it was called back into its ball. The one major downside of Outrage… she mused quietly. It may be an incredibly effective, powerful, and terribly destructive attack, but it left the pokemon using it confused, tired, and fatigued. Alyssa had battled a fisherman with an armful of Gyarados that he’d taught the destructive move to. The tiny, sand-pile islands they were using as footholds for the water battle were practically blown away, and both trainers were drenched by the end of the rampage, thanks to the water thrown into the air uncontrollably. Luckily, Aurora had managed to withstand the devastating power of the attacks repeatedly and knocked each Gyarados out with a well-aimed Thunderbolt during their confusion afterwards.
The white-haired trainer scuffed her shoes against the wet bark of the large tree she had landed in, halfway through her descent from the City above to the ground. Leaning over, she jumped slightly to take hold of the vine before lowering herself the rest of the way to the ground, letting go of the vine about six feet from the solid earth below. She landed easily, her knees buckling to absorb the impact of her Running Shoes on the damp, almost peaty soil beneath her feet. Straightening herself, she brushed off the front of her shirt, where some dirt had flown up and stuck to the black fabric.
”Well, that mission was accomplished easily enough, huh?” she asked him with a bit of a smile. ”Good job…just remember that not all of your missions will be finished that quickly…” she reminded the young Nox member, laughing quietly. ”This time we got lucky that the Kecleon were easy enough to get rid of.”
Pulling out her cell phone, she glanced at the time before jumping slightly. If she didn’t get a move on to Mauville, she would be late for the…’date’ she’d arranged with Gold for later that day. ”Well..” she said, pocketing her phone and looking back up at him. ”Good to meet you, glad we finished this quickly, but I need to go now. I have somewhere to be.” she gave him a small nod. ”If it’s not too much trouble I want you to check back here in about two weeks, to make sure the Color-Change pokemon haven’t tried blocking off the city again for whatever reason. I trust you could take care of them if they have?”
She walked forward, giving him a slight pat on the shoulder before taking off at a run towards her bike, which she then folded up (thank Arceus Rydel was a genius when it came to collapsible bikes) and placed in the bag she had been carrying on her back. Pulling a pokeball off of her belt, she tossed it into the air, summoning forth Flygon, whos back she hopped on.
Giving a last glance to Lune, she smiled. ”See you around, kid.”
Flygon’s clawed hands clamped down protectively on his legs and they took off into the sky, towards the casino-city of Mauville.
