He received her as a Torchic twelve years ago when he started his pokemon journey. The two did not bond instantly like many starter pokemon and their trainers do, but instead they went through many trials to test their friendship and trust before they became the incredible team they are today. From battling through Hoenn's routes to challenging themselves in the Sinnoh Contest Hall, Kiza and Era have experienced almost everything together.

LUCARIO

sky uppercut | dragon pulse | extremespeed | aura sphere | swords dance | earthquake[/center]A kind traveler on the road presented a pokemon egg to an unsuspecting Era when he stepped foot in Sinnoh. Unaware of what the egg contained, Era accepted out of courtesy and kindness, not wanting to seem indifferent to an offer like a pokemon egg. Soon enough, it hatched into a small Riolu. Deeply interested, Era wasted no time beginning to work with it, using Kiza to help train it. Racu soon grew to admire his trainer greatly and later evolved into a Lucario.

TOGEKISS

Era was nowhere near any civilization, and he sat out under the stars late one night with his pokemon, admiring the night's serene beauty when the Togekiss, curious as ever, fluttered down from a perch in a tree where it had been watching him. Era showed it kindness, and it proved to be a cuddlebug from the start. The whole night, it didn't leave Era's side, and he later captured it.

ALTARIA

hyper beam | dragon dance | mist | heat wave | safeguard | sky attack[/center]While venturing around Meteor Falls, Era found this pokemon as a Swablu, badly injured from a fight that had apparently broken out between a pack of Zangoose and a nest of Seviper. It had been an innocent victim in the conflict, and Era couldn't turn a blind eye to a pokemon that needed help. He took it under his wing (figuratively speaking) and worked with it more than ever once he decided to explore the inner coordinator in him. As it evolved into an Altaria, it evolved into an essential contest pokemon.

SALAMENCE

hydro pump | draco meteor | ominous wind | hidden power | steel wing | swift[/center]Era was lucky enough to stumble across a couple of Bagon fighting each other and butting heads in Meteor Falls when he took his first (and so far only) trip through it, making the most of this single trip to explore. The dragons fascinated him and he soon sent out Kiza to battle with them. When they both attacked, she took care of them, and Era used the opportunity to capture one for himself. It has turned out to be one of the most aggressive (though secretly loving and fiercely protective) pokemon on his team.

HYDREIGON

After some talking, the man challenged him to a game of chess with the stakes raised high in bets - a dragon pokemon from each trainer if he lost. Unfortunately for the traveler, he didn't know how logically Era's brain worked. The ascot-wearing young man bested him in less than thirty minutes, and keeping to his word, the traveler awarded Era with a dragon pokemon - Hydreigon. Although initially it was beyond Era's area of expertise, he soon learned how to work with the pokemon. It didn't hurt that it soon fell in love with Era's Salamence, either.

Found the same day as Ira and Yin, Era captured Yang in an effort to stop the feud between Seviper and Zangoose just outside of meteor falls, since the two groups of pokemon were not only hurting other pokemon in their small-scale war, but they were also upsetting the environment. After investigating the matter some upon finding Ira, Era discovered the two groups, but most all of the pokemon had fainted save for what he assumed to be the two Leaders of the warring groups - a shiny Zangoose and shiny Seviper respectively. He quelled their fighting and captured them both. Although they still hold a mutual animosity, they find greater satisfaction in performing in contests alongside each other for Era rather than fighting to the death as they tried so many times.

Thanks to Era's training, Yang is able to stand toe-to-toe with Yin in a fight.

Like any self-respecting C.E.O, Era threw a dinner party between SPE and Devon Corp to commemorate his father on the eve of his coronation as the new C.E.O of SPE. Though the heads of the rival company Devon Corp were initially hesitant to accept the offer, fearing it might be some kind of a trap that would wrap them into deals and agreements, they accepted. As the night progressed, they grew more comfortable in the presence of the new, young C.E.O that would head their main industry partner, but as a gift and token of respect in the world of business and pokemon, they presented him with a rare Beldum in thanks for the party and good night. He does not use the Metagross much in contests, surprisingly, and it is more of a companion pokemon that knows how to attack and defend on command.

GOLDUCK

Initially, Era didn't know how this pokemon would benefit him in any way, shape, or form. As a Psyduck, Era found it to be the single most annoying pokemon he'd ever bothered capturing. He only captured it because it stalked followed him around for days on end. When it evolved, he gave it more of a chance and began working with it, only to discover how well the pokemon worked in and with water. After the addition of Ice Beam and Psychic that had been unbeknownst to Era until it was a Golduck, Udlo proved to be an unexpected strength for Era in contests.

ESPEON
