Between Village Bridge and Snowpoint
[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]Sitting outside of the restaurant in Fallarbor, Alyssa could practically feel the tension in the air. Although Fallarbor’s residents had a strong dislike for Nox due to their past actions against Fallarbor’s shipping of crops to the Lux in the Region (hijacking shipments and delivering them to Nox instead), Alyssa had been working to implement a more peaceable policy as far as preventing goods from being delivered to Lux which involved Nox being stationed within Fallarbor to regulate the shipments. Although Alyssa disliked the policy she’d put into action, she knew that she would be able to create a better one as soon as Fallarbor was under Nox’s control.
The white-haired Leader’s eyes were empty-looking as she gazed at nothing in particular across from the restaurant. The fertile soil of the town was mineral rich, and an incredible resource that would truly be a gift to Nox once they took over the town. They would be able to use it for the better of the rest of Hoenn. Her plan to take her home region by storm would have to wait a while yet, though. She needed to finalize certain plans.
Sitting back in her chair and crossing her legs, she dropped her right hand into her lap. Her left was in a sling still from her battle at Village Bridge, however, enough time had passed to say that she would soon be able to go without it. Can’t come quick enough, though… she thought, having practically burned the date she could get rid of the damn sling in her mind. She was jolted out of her own silent thoughts by the waitress who’d arrived, dropping off the drink Alyssa had ordered on the table.
Taking the beverage in her hand, she sipped it as though trying it for the first time, letting the taste of banana mingled with vodka set on her tongue before it ran down her throat, warming it as any decent alcoholic beverage should, coupled with the taste of coffee liqueur and light cream. Pulling it away from her lips, she examined the White Banana Russian before placing it back on the table. It was good enough, and it would satisfy her until she was hungry…if she became so at all.
