However, there are very few people that know his first name, as he rarely introduces himself as such. Instead, he gives his surname and is known as SIRIUS to those he has met. He prefers not to be called anything else. BACKGROUND He only recently became TWENTY-ONE YEARS OLD, having just passed that landmark of a birthday on JANUARY 1ST and has never known either of his parents. Sirius was born to a single mother in OREBURGH CITY. However, she was unprepared for his birth, both mentally and financially. As a result, she dropped him on the doorstep of the Church of Arceus in Hearthome City. Luckily, they didn't ignore him, and instead took him under their wing. At the age of five, he was moved from the large church in Hearthome to live with the monks that oversaw the upkeeping of the Ice Temple in Snowpoint City. In addition to basic schooling they gave him as well as religious instruction with the education he received, they also began instructing him in hand-to-hand combat as a release of energy (even though he didn't really start getting "good" at it until he was ten). They had him meditate each day to practice breath control and finding his "center", which they believed would allow him more energy to dedicate to both his studies and instruction with martial arts. Apparently they were correct. Though the martial arts would be useful in self-defense and handling himself in a situation if he were to get jumped, something else was needed as well. Two years after the bare-hand martial arts instruction began, he began instruction with the sword (using wooden sticks fashioned like swords, of course. Who would hand a seven-year-old a blade?). This continued on well into his late teenage years until he turned twenty. It was at the age of fifteen that the heart disease he still suffers from became apparent, limiting the amount of physical activity he could do in one sitting. As an alternative, the monks decided to teach him about pokemon and gifted him with a Piplup, telling him his rite of passage into manhood would be if he could successfully capture a full team of pokemon in a blizzard. He did so, and proceeded to capture a few more afterward. He remained with the monks to continue training both himself (though less so than usual because of his heart) and his pokemon in order to protect himself. The war broke out when he was seventeen, and he (along with the rest of the monks) kept their heads down as Lux and Nox waged war against each other and continued to adhere undisturbed to their beliefs. In the autumn of his twentieth year, Sirius at long last proposed his leaving to the monks. Grateful for all they had done for him, he left as a crusader in the war, using it as an opportunity to spread the word of Arceus. OCCUPATION He would best be described as a SAGE. Having grown up highly involved in the church, he adheres strictly to his beliefs and mediates each day for at least one hour, generally in the evening. He travels, seeing as being rooted in one place isn't much the lifestyle for him and he thinks of himself as something similar to a Crusader, seeing the war as an opportunity to spread the word of Arceus and punish those that act against his beliefs. ALLEGIANCE He's a normal civilian, LUX for the reason that he has no interest in the war itself aside from using it as an opportunity to punish those he believes deserves to be punished, and to spread the word of Arceus. He won't be fighting unless he's in the wrong place at the wrong time. TRAITS [/style]

▪ is highly skilled in sword combat and martial arts, having trained from the time he was seven and five years old respectively
▪ suffers from aortic valve stenosis coupled with occasional syncope, but more commonly angina - he's running out of time
▪ Sirius bears a grudge against Dialga because he fully believes she exists and an unconscious part of him wants to acknowledge the influence the goddess may have on his life. But at the same time, he doesnt want to believe in fate because that would mean he believes his life was planned to end early because of his heart and he's really pissed about that.[/div][/td][/tr]
