The Berk-Hysteria War
DATE & TIME: May 29th, soon after First sign of Trouble CHARACTERS INVOLVED: Kenna, Asther (or Arya if she's accepted) PREVIOUS THREADS? First sign of Trouble Kenna smiled to herself, Aiden and she had finally gotten useable metals from all of the ores (OOC: thanks to Minecraft, I have had to delete the word Ingot a few times, since I severely doubted that they had them). She now had a good stock of Iron and bronze, although she didn’t get much gold. She’d also turned a good about of the Iron into steel. She her smile disappeared slightly as she started to wonder how long it would be until it will actually be used, every abled bodied man that needed a weapon already had one, really it’s only going to be used as replace or fix broken weapons or for more mundane designs for the village. Of course she could use some of it for… She heard the bell ring in the next room. She got up and looked walked to the other room; she wondered who it was, and what they wanted. As much as she enjoyed the idea of her getting some work, her mind hoped more that it was a visit from Sven, she hadn’t seen him since Hermes was hurt. She missed him. As she walked through the door she saw it wasn’t Sven, but she was surprised by who it was. “Good day Asther,” she said, giving a slight bow and a friendly smile to the young leader, “What can I do for you?”

The news that Hysterian ships were making their way for Berk's shores was alarming news. Asther had debated for a long while if she should take the word of an Outsider. Her gut instinct had screamed not to, but she thought of what her father told her before he died - a good leader takes into consideration anything they're told, no matter how outlandish it seemed. After contemplating the seriousness of the news delivered, she knew she had no room to refuse this tip and thanked them appropriately and soon alerted the village messengers working under her to deliver word of a possible invasion to the entire Village - which had grown larger in the past few years than she'd expected it to. They had quite the job on their hands. She had wanted, though, to deliver word of an invasion threat to the Blacksmith herself.
Stepping into the shop, a small bell rang above the door to alert the shopkeeper to the arrival of a potential customer. The sound was soft and fuzzy, though Asther had heard it all the same. It was a rare thing to see her without her beloved Puff, but this much she could do on her own without worry of being attacked or (quite literally) stabbed in the back. "Hello, Kenna..." she greeted the Blacksmith kindly, giving an acknowledging nod of her head to the bow. She half-wished people didn't bow to her, even though it was out of custom and respect. It seemed like an art that was unsuited for their lifestyle, in her opinion. However, she complained little about it, really only to Puff.
"You may have heard whispered rumors flying about the village from my messengers, but...I've received some rather troubling news." She paused before elaborating, continuing further. "I believe we are going to be attacked by Hysteria. However, I have no intentions of giving them the opportunity. I plan on meeting them in battle. You know what that means, right?" she asked, narrowing her eyes slightly at the thought of battle.
